QUESTION:  HOW MUCH IS THE SECURITY DEPOSIT?

ANSWER:  Our security/damage deposit is $400 for most off campus locations excluding a few select locations.  Deposits for Purdue campus locations are equal to the monthly rent.  The security deposit only *holds the apartment in your name for a short time--arrangements to sign a lease must be made within 72 hours of approval.

* A minimum of 1/2 of the deposit is required to hold an apartment.

QUESTION:  HOW DO I GET APPROVED FOR AN APARTMENT?

ANSWER:  You must see the apartment, complete the application and return it to the office location.  The approval process generally takes about 24 hours.  We approve you based off of the following: current/previous landlord references, finances (you must be able to afford the apartment by our standards), criminal background, and *credit report.

*Credit? We do not base our decision on your credit score.  You cannot have any outstanding utility bills or unsettled evictions on your credit report.
